Colin McFerrin, Managing Attorney

Colin McFerrin's practice focuses primarily on family law, business and contract law, and wills and estates.  As an avid motorcycle rider, Colin also concentrates a portion of his law practice on protecting the rights of motorcyclists and their passengers, as well as others who have suffered personal injuries.

Shortly after high school, Colin enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as a medical laboratory technician.  After honorably serving four years on active duty as an enlisted airman, Colin used his G.I. Bill benefits to attend Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where he earned a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology.  Colin then spent several years working within the pharmaceutical industry as a microbiologist and sales representative.

The changing healthcare environment, coupled with a desire to continue helping others, led Colin to pursue his legal education.  While in law school, Colin served as Citations Editor of the Law Review, and he was inducted into the prestigious National Order of Scribes.  Colin graduated cum laude from Texas Wesleyan School of Law and, subsequently, opened the Law Office of Colin McFerrin, PLLC in Kyle, Texas to begin his career as a lawyer.

Colin has litigated cases in over 20 counties in the State of Texas representing clients facing a variety of legal issues.  Recently, Colin was honored to be recognized as a Super Lawyers - Rising Star for 2022 in the area of family law.

Colin and his wife, Kristen, who reside in Wimberley, Texas, have five children, a dog, three cats, and an entertaining flock of chickens.  When not in the office helping clients, Colin enjoys riding his motorcycle, scuba diving, traveling, hunting, reading historical non-fiction, and rooting for the Texas A&M football team.
